View Full Version : 2.3 Development Version Release Date: 8th Feb 2010

On the 8th February 2010 we will be releasing the first development version of the next version of JShop Server. We originally said that this would be released at the end of January but due to some re-working that's required to one of the major additions in this first development version, we are delaying this by a week to sort these out.

We envisage there being either one or two more development versions after this, each one bringing in some major new functionality, before going into Beta and then officially releasing.

We know many of you are keen to know what's going to be in each development version but we will not be pre-announcing this (apart from, as we've already discussed, the first version including major changes and many additions to discounts and offer codes) and feature inclusion will be announced on the day of release. This is to allow us to be flexible with what is included in each version as and when we're happy that the functionality is complete.

An update on this. The installers are being created at the moment and tested which is going to take some time due to the number of database field changes and new tables contained in this development version.

It's going to take a number of hours to pull everything together. Although it is still planned for release today, it is looking likely that it will arrive later this afternoon or early evening.

As soon as it's ready this thread will be updated.
